Broader Impacts
Inspiring the next generation to explore the world through STEM is a central motivation of my educational and outreach efforts. I value collaboration with like-minded educators to support students in identifying their interests and exploring their potential at an early stage.
Activities
๐ INFORMS K-12 Education Outreach & Networking Program (founded in 2023)
I have served as Co-Chair of the INFORMS EOC K-12 Outreach Committee since 2022 and co-founded the program around three core thrusts:ย
Online Webinars to share K-12 outreach practices within the INFORMS community;ย
In-Person Panel Discussions to explore future opportunities and challenges in K-12 outreach;
STEM Spark, an INFORMS K-12 poster competition that encourages graduate students to present their research in language accessible to high-school students.

๐ STARS AI Scholar
I participated as a scholar to receive structured K-12 outreach training and conducted AI-focused K-12 outreach projects from 2024 to 2026.
๐ ISyE K-12 Program: Probability and Statistics High School Competition
I volunteered in the development of competition questions and served as a grader for the competition at Georgia Tech in 2022.
๐ ASA Statistics Project Competition for Grades 7-12
I volunteered to serve as a reviewer for the competition in 2024.
As someone who was inspired earlier in my academic journey, I mentor undergraduate students as they explore research and discover new knowledge. I guide students through the research process while supporting the development of curiosity and a long-term interest in research.
Activities
Please refer to my Mentoring page.
I develop new curriculum that introduces students to emerging research frontiers and connects teaching with research. Integrating research insights into education engages students while fostering curiosity and deeper learning.
Activities
๐ Tensor-Based Prognostics and Process Control with Applications in Semiconductor Manufacturing
I developed a new graduate-level course module consisting of eight lectures and accompanying course materials (syllabus, slides, assignments, and a finite-element simulation demo), and taught the module twice at Georgia Tech.
